The concept of Intellectual Property includes rights pertaining to confidential information, trade secrets, copyright, patents and trade marks. This area of the law treats intangible products similarly to those of physical things.

In most countries, Intellectual Property laws grant certain kinds of exlusive rights over the intangibles and ale gray which is an alary of property rights.

It should be noted that Australia is a member of a number of Intellectual Property agreements and since entering into the free trade agreement with the United States, has been forced to expand its rules and regulations pertaining to Australian Intellectual Property rights.

Our Mr Colavitti has a Masters Degree in the area of Intellectual Property Law and has substantial experience in the contractual arrangements and licensing arrangements both in Australia and overseas.
